As Inspiration Lead, I’ll begin our journey through each revolution. I am attuned towards compassion, curiosity, and creativity with an open mind to life-long learning and development. I’ve grown culturally humble in practice and offer openness, optimism, encouragement and possibilities to all lives.
I’ve had the opportunity to inspire a sense of vitality alongside our oldest and youngest generations experiencing challenges, transitions and obstacles in everyday life. When any cycle of change begins, we aim to share an understanding. Each and every life is lived differently, and with this in mind we begin our journey together. I inspire the expression of experiences. What we discover will lead our way to developing a path forward and sustaining a way of life, one with a fresh sense of vitality.
I have experience with a broad range of diagnosed syndromes, illnesses, disabilities, disorders, and diseases as well as isolation, major life transitions, loss and grief, low motivation, vulnerability, and anxieties. I warmly offer my hand to those I meet, knowing vitality can be found in any condition.
I am grateful for my many experiences supporting sustainable wellbeing with individuals and groups at home, in communities, and the classroom, in long-term care and assisted living residences, at day centers, social clubs and community centers. Over time working within systems, I witnessed many individuals and groups experiencing a state of conflict in everyday life. Indignity, inequality, inaccessibility and inactivity are effects of these wide-ranging barriers which limit our possibilities for a life with a sense of vitality. TEM opens the box to free our perceptive on what it means to thrive.
I’m also founder of The Ellis Method, a self-sustaining initiative striving for valued vitality in Canadian communities. Our method of inspiration was developed to bring harmony between our lived experiences and expectations. Together we can balance the joyful and challenging rhythms in life through possibilities of peace and movement. With warmth and kindness, we support each other.
If you’d like to talk, I’m ready to listen. Send me a whistle anytime from anywhere.
